Top 5 Best Travel Credit Card

Travel Credit Card

There are dozens of great travel reward cards. Picking the best one for you means taking a look at your favorite travel partners, travels goals, what perks you value, and if you have no idea what I'm talking about, don't worry, we got you.

1. Platinum Card -  From American Express

Platinum card

The first amazing travel credit card has to be the platinum from American express it's really a great credit card,  well, it's actually not a credit card it's a charge card which means that you have to pay off the full balance every month
  • The platinum card comes with a $60,000 signup bonus and sometimes you can be targeted for a $100,000 point bonus, that bonus alone is worth $2,000 at a $0.2 per point evaluation
  • You get $200 in uber credit every year which works with ubereats and it's set at $15 per month and in December it's $35,
  • You also get $200 in airline credits every year,
  • You get $100 in statement credit for purchases at Saks Fifth Avenue,
  • You get $100 statement credit towards the TSA Precheck
  • You get delete status with a bunch of hotels and rental car companies and the Platinum card has the best lounge access compared to other premium cards.
  • You get access to the Centurion lounges, delta sky clubs whenever you're flying on Delta airlines,
  • You get plaza premium lounges, airspace lounges and of course a priority pass select membership which gives you access to over 1,000 lounges around the world.

2. Citi Prestige Credit Card - From Citibank

Citi prestige credit card

Starting January 4th 2019 this card will earn five times points on dining and airfare which is just amazing, it will also earn three points on hotels and cruises, also starting in January the Citi prestige will offer a yearly $250 statement credit towards travel purchases that was previously only for airfare purchases, now they expanded their general travel purchases

The main reason I like the card though is for the fourth-night free benefit, this is the most unique benefit from any credit card where if you stay in a hotel for four or more nights you get the equivalent of One Night value back as a statement credit

This benefit is not capped in terms of dollars but starting September 2019 it will be capped to be used only twice a year.

3. Chase Sapphire Reserve

The card offers a $300 and travel every year that applies towards a board definition of travel even uber and parking counts. Another main reason is the ability to redeem Ultimate Rewards points towards travel with a value of 1.5 cents per point when booking through chases travel, this adds flexibility dimension to using these points.

Just to summarize those first 3 cards, these are the Premium cards from the three major banks and having all three of them opens up a ton of potential transfer partners or you can use the points you earn for maximum value.

The next 2 cards are complimentary cards

4. Chase Freedom

With rotating quarterly categories where you can earn five times point and up to $1,500, it's a great sidekick card for the Chase Sapphire Reserve, if you maximize the five times points every quarter, that's 30,000 Ultimate Rewards point per year

5. Amex Every Preferred Card

Amex- everyday preferred card

The cards earn three times points of supermarkets up to $6,000 a year, two times point on gas stations, and you can earn 50% additional point every billing period when you make 30 transactions or more

This makes it a great card for everyday spending to earn a ton of Amex Membership Reward points

There you have it, those are the best travel card and also to earn a great reward
